Thank God for kids

After coming home last night exhausted from the trip I had no problem going to sleep, however the getting up part was a little tricky this morning. I am so far behind on Christmas preparations, I am starting to think I am ahead. Until this afternoon, I didn't even have our Christmas tree up. Thanks to the kids that is now done and I have to start thinking about baking cookies. wrapping gifts, and planning Christmas dinner. Mike and I have already agreed not to bother decorating the outside of the house this year.In addition to helping putting up and decorating the tree this afternoon Michael ran the snow blower through the driveway again, Cindy did some household chores that have been neglected and Robby gathered up the trash for tomorrows collection as well as a few other jobs. This made things a lot easier for me and even allotted time for me to run to McDonalds for the Chicken McNugget sale for dinner. What tomorrow holds, I don't know but hopefully it will get me a bit closer to where I need to be. Luckily I have these three wonderful kids to help get me there.
