The teddy Bear story

When Michael went to the Surgical center on Monday. The nurse was concerned that he would have a problem with getting an IV. Since Michael is not as tall as many thirteen year old boys and this particular nurse did not see his chart she was not sure of his age. She walked past him carrying a teddy bear then past again trying to gage whether he would appreciate the bear or not. Finally she came over and explained that they give all kids these bears and layed it down on his lap as she put the IV in. Michael is really not the bear type and would just as soon left this one for some younger child but he has always been taught to say Thank You and act appreciative so he did.
After Mike snapped this picture with his cell phone Michael handed me the bear. saying " Mom you can have this" I layed it on the table by his chair and took it with me to the waiting room while he was in surgery. Once we got home I tucked it into my cedar chest right next to the one Robby got from the Police when he was a baby and we were in a car accident . I will keep these safe and sound until my boys have a child ,then I will give their bear to their child and tell them the bear's story when they get big enough
