Clarissa and her quads are doing well. They have all been quietly nursing or sleeping for the most part. The only cries that have been heard on a regular basis are Clancy's when Clarissa decides that it looks as though he may be thinking of coming near the puppies( mind you I said thinking. He has been in another room when she decides this), springs from the box growls, snaps at him, or worse yet latches onto his ear. Poor Clancy.. Doggy Daddy's really don't have any rights. This scenario is not liked by the quad either as Clarissa doesn't care if they are nursing, sleeping on her legs, or what they are doing when she feels the need to spring into action. The first couple times she did this they all cried but have since gotten used to it.
Through this whole ordeal we have also had daily contact with the veterinarian who says that all sounds great and that he will see us Monday for tail docking and dew claw removals. Before then I want to get a couple pictures with tails as they are so cute. I have debated on skipping the tail docking but that probably isn't one of my better ideas.Today is also the day that I have promised to fill out their preregistration papers, so that if I don't keep them all ( yea right ) their new owners can get them registered easily.
