Since I had just purchased a fire bowl and it was Cindy's birthday, she decided that yesterday was the day to have a wiener roast. I intended to ask Dad and Mom over to join us as Cindy and Dad usually celebrate their birthdays together. However when I seen Dad Friday night after his oral surgery, it didn't seem like he was up for such an event. Cindy felt bad that Pops would not be here but understood and still wanted to keep the plans. At three O' clock we called to see how Pops was doing and he said he felt pretty good. So Cindy asked if he would come.He did and we all had a great time.
